"Our company was in need of instituting a process to recognize and reward our employees who had been the company for a period of 5 or more years. The current recognition system was being done on a hit and miss. In a company of over 250 employees, someone did get missed so we decided to formalize the process. After researching some sites on the internet, I decided to call Awards Network. My call was promptly answered, the program explained and I was mailed a sample certificate folder of what the Award would look like when presented to our employees. A gift catalog was also sent so our company could decide what dollar amount within each category to use in the employee recognition.

"Once we committed to Awards Network, we were then assigned an account representative, Amy Trueblood who could answer all my questions as we began to implement the program on an annual basis at an awards ceremony.

"Our first year, to get on track, we decided to recognize persons who had been with the company 5, 10, 15, 20, etc years with the company. That meant we had 74 persons to recognize. The employees were not informed of this "gift" until the awards ceremony and were they ever surprised. Each category had a different dollar amount and in their certificate, they had lots of nice gift selections from which to choose. It was great fun handing out the professionally-created certificate, folder, thank-you letter and gift selection. Our employees were very pleased with their award and the quality of gifts they could select as well as the quickness in receiving their gift following their order. The management was please with the low cost of the professionally created certificates, speed of delivery, follow-up reports and the quick response to all questions asked.
